Course Structure:

1. Hands-On Clinical Practical Experience: A full day of hands-on clinical training with your tutor(s) on Level 1 Foundation Botulinum Toxins and Dermal Fillers.

1. Theory Modules (Up to Eight Hours): You will complete these modules in your own time before the clinical hands-on course. Modules include in-depth content on facial aging, muscles, fat pads, nerves, Botox, Fillers, history and examination, and starting your aesthetic practice. Comprehensive demo and information videos accompany each module.

1. Foundation Level Test: After completing the theory modules and watching our demo, you must take a compulsory multiple-choice quiz before attending the hands-on clinical course.

Foundation Key Learning Outcomes:

– Conducting a thorough medical history assessment

– Patient examination and comprehensive consultation

– Diagnosis of dynamic and static lines

– Explaining expected effects and procedure risks to patients

– Understanding facial anatomy and the aging process

– In-depth knowledge of Botulinum toxins, their types, action, and side effects

– Expertise in Fillers, including types, action, and side effects

– Effective patient counselling, history, examination, consent forms, and insurance

– Treatment doses, sites, and potential side effects

– Delivering treatment and obtaining patient consent

– Critical appraisal and feedback from expert tutors

– Requirements for insurance and other business aspects

– Maximising profit through marketing and promotional activities

– Understanding available products and their proper use

– Observation of a live demonstration by the tutor

– Hands-on practical session covering both Botulinum Toxin and dermal fillers on a live model

Treatments Covered in This Course:

– Botox: Peri-orbital (crows feet), frontalis (forehead lines), and glabellar (frown lines)

– Dermal Fillers: Lips (definition and volume)

Who Can Attend:

This course is open to registered doctors, nurses, midwives, and dentists with valid GDC, GMC, or NMC registration. You must also have independent prescribing rights or access to a clinician who can prescribe on your behalf.

After the Course:

Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive a CPD certificate recognized by leading UK medical aesthetics insurance providers. You will also be equipped with the knowledge and clinical skills to deliver optimal results to your own patients.
